This specimen features a most unique formation of chunky, octahedral Galena dusted with pyrite and on a botryoidal pyrite and iron ore matrix, and is quite heavy and grounding. It comes from the famous Sweetwater Mine in Missouri, which has put out some phenomenal, unique collector's pieces. Galena and Pyrite can have very similar properties as they promote amplification, increasing energy, abundance, and joy. Galena is a stone that is not only a shifter of negativity, but also one that encourages new thought and perspective. Although not common, it is said that its properties were used as early back as Ancient Egypt. It is a stone with the energy of "building up", which is excellent for those working on setting new intentions and goals.
