This is a rare combo specimen of micro glassy Smoky Quartz with hints of embedded Aegerine and Orthoclase Feldspar. Smoky quartz is a stone that is commonly used for protection, clearing, transmuting negativity, and grounding what is no longer needed to remove stagnancy in growth, physically, spiritually and emotionally. Aegerine is a dark green, almost black mysterious looking mineral that grows in jagged sprays, and are found in Malawi. These ancient stones are truth bringers, and align us with our inner most truths, so that we may see and live our lives with more purpose and clarity. It is a stone that digs deep, and is excellent for those doing shadow work. It is a stone that asks us not to judge by appearance, not even ourselves, for we are very capable and here to accomplish anything and everything we set our minds and hearts to. This is seen by how Aegerine, though seemingly fragile with narrow blades, can push through the hardest of crystals and rock. It is said to promote healthier thoughts of ourselves, boosting one's sense of self worth. Lastly, it is also a trigger stone in that it pushes us to accomplish what needs to be done. Orthoclase is a milky white feldspar, typically found around Aergerine. Samples of Lunar sand from the Apollo missions showed presence of Orthoclase. Amazingly, samples of the more recent Martian surface explorations, also showed traces of Orthoclase present! Orthoclase is a stone that promotes opportunities for one to realize who they are on an emotional level, offering balance, stability, as it is quite familiar to volatility since that is which it derived from millions of years ago. Orthoclase is a stone of development and growth, and is very closely related to the foundations of Mother Earth. Whenever I hold one of these, I hear "wise and steady, present and calm through it all".
