These unique crystals are from Chiredzi, Zimbabwe, and typically contain unique details that set them apart from other amethyst specimens. Chiredzi is known for darker amethyst Smokey quartz crystals which can be very Brandberg-like in quality. They feature unique, micro details that range from water etchings to twinning. There is also at times the presence of Lepidocrocite, which are presented as specular or needle like inclusions within the stone. Skeletal or window features and scepter shapes are also common with these pieces, each one rare, special, and totally unique. Smoky Amethysts combine the grounding and protective energies of Smoky with the elevating, aiding, clearing, and spiritually attuned qualities of Amethyst.
